The official Modern Pentathlon today launched their mini-site for the London 2012 Olympic Games - with a little help from us of course!
Wowza Media Server has some great features, but from time to time you need a way of streaming, Live or On Demand, while doing a couple of clever things. We've created a module for Wowza Media Server 2 that allows streaming of content with file/stream names obscured and limited to IP address. We're calling it the Authenticated Secure Streaming Module.
We do love making new and shiny things, so the recent launch of the new ifsc.tv site is good to see!
We recently finished working with Virya Technologies on a short project to create a new module that displays videos managed by the HwdVideo Share component, and we think it came out quite nice!
Over the last few weeks we've been working hard (under our guise as HORIZONSolutions) to bring the world of Squash the new Tournament of Champions web site, and we think it's quite an improvement!
We're currently working on releasing a Flash Media Interactive Server application that will allow you to monitor and control who has access to videos via server-side controls, thus allowing you to create a database of users and the videos they can watch without having to alter the player in any way! Player-agnostic secure video streaming anyone? Register some interest by Contacting Us or simply follow us on twitter @mkalinet
Web Projects Manager Chris Williams talks at Joomla! Day UK on the subject of video
Thanks to all who attended the very extended talk on Video in Joomla! at Joomla! Day UK 2010! A very large topic to cover in the one hour slot which meant that the questions continued well past the next session and into lunch!
Another big thanks for the Jd10uk team for organizing and hosting the event.
