Wowza Media Server has some great features, but from time to time you need a way of streaming, Live or On Demand, while doing a couple of clever things. We've created a module for Wowza Media Server 2 that allows streaming of content with file/stream names obscured and limited to IP address. We're calling it the Authenticated Secure Streaming Module.
With the Authenticated Secure Streaming Module, we have provided a way to limit the access to a stream based on an authentication file on the local file system or on a web server. It can also limit the connection based on the IP address of the client.
