Migration
We moved all of the existing World Bowls Tour content from an existing Content Management System into Joomla! and K2 to vastly improve the visual appeal, usability and SEO of the site, as well as make it quicker and simpler for their staff to add new news items with images, photo galleries and video during their tournaments. In it's first weekend the WBT web site appeared several times on BBC Scotland and received massive traffic increase from the previous years event
Integration
Thanks to the Joomla! template system, we tightly integrated with World Bowls Tour site with the 247.tv video platform to give a near seamless link between the two sites. Users moving from one site to another are only able to tell the change by looking at the url! This gave the World Bowls Tour a greater ability for sponsorship opportunities, as we also provided them a way to add sponsors logos and text atop the video player that their users whatch the live action during World Bowls Tour events.
